Our very Honey-Bunny journey

Honey, bunny, good girl, rabbit, bird, cat, mouse, elephant. There are a lot of names we call Honey, and she responds to all of them. Mostly because she thinks that her family is crazy and that we keep on forgetting her name;) (All of these names fit her)

About 2 years ago we were like those new kids in school, who needed help finding the science room, except we needed help with taking care of a dogs We were officially dog owners! That’s just a name, but did we act like them. I thought about that and was worried that I would do something wrong. I remember wiping the edges of the water bowl when it got wet in the process of filling it up. I remember measuring out exactly 8oz of dog kibble and making sure it was just the right amount. Even though Honey didn’t eat anything, I still came down every morning and poured all of yesterday's food bag in the bag and started over. I remember carefully wiping her paws with a PAPER TOWEL so I don’t hurt her. Now I think, seriously, who would do that? I remember placing all her toys in a row, so she can pick them out. (The toys were so big she was afraid of them!) I remember holding the leash so carefully, not to let go, but at the same time not to pull on her tiny neck. Seriously, now I think back to those times and realize that I was as scared as a new parent. Well, those times are over and now it’s more of a “honey go eat your food!” before I used to pretend to try her food and tell her “mmmmm Honey! Your food is sooo good, come try just a little bit!” then she would come running and start eating it really fast<3
